In modern society, Geists support a free democratic system structured around a republic, with open and fair election systems that give all citizens equal rights to participate in politics.

Political Geism advocates for individuals as the foundation of society and law. The existence of society and institutions is to advance the goals of individuals, without favoring those with higher social status.

Cultural Geism emphasizes the rights of individuals in moral beliefs and lifestyles, including issues such as sexual freedom, freedom of belief, cognitive freedom, etc., and protects individuals from government intrusion into their private lives. Only for the purpose of self-protection can individuals or groups interfere with the freedom of other human beings. Only for the purpose of preventing harm to others can the freedom intentions of other members of civilized society be legitimately stopped. The interests of the individual, whether material or spiritual, are not sufficient reasons to justify this principle. Cultural Geism typically opposes government restrictions on literature, art, academia, gambling, sex, prostitution, legal marriage age, abortion, birth control, alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs. Most Geists oppose government intervention in these areas.
